APPLE CASHEW MILKSHAKE




Milkshakes are a great way to start the day. They are easy to make, healthy and delicious. Both apples and cashews are rich in antioxidants which help in preventing the damage of cells and tissues. They also have other health benefits. Combining these two adds a great flavour and taste to the milkshake.

Ingredients

3 large apples
½ cup chopped cashews
3 glasses of chilled milk
12 tsp sugar (adjust to taste) 

Method

Wash and cut the apples, remove the seeds and blend along with sugar and cashews to a smooth paste. Transfer the apple- cashew- sugar mix to a jar and add chilled milk. Mix well. Transfer it to air tight jar and close a lid. Shake well and pour into glasses.

Notes:
  • Increase or decrease the quantity of sugar according to the sweetness of the apples.
  • You can also substitute sugar with honey which will give a new flavour to the milkshake.
  • Almonds, pistachios, walnuts can also be added to enhance the nutrient value and taste.
