Fried chicken drumsticks is a delicious and popular starter. This delicacy can be easily prepared at home using the following recipe. Here we have pressure cooked the chicken before frying. This not only reduces frying time but also makes sure that your chicken is well cooked and perfect.

2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp chicken 65 masala
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
½ tbsp curd
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste

  • Wash and clean the chicken drumsticks with water.
  • Dab a kitchen towel over the pieces to remove excess water and then make 2 or 3 small cuts on each piece using a knife.
  • Take a pressure cooker, add the chicken pieces along with a cup of water and a pinch of salt and pressure cook the chicken drumsticks upto 1 whistle.
  • Drain the excess water and allow the chicken drumsticks to cool down completely.

  • Check for taste. Add salt or chilli powder or lemon juice if necessary.
