PANEER TIKKA AND VEGETABLE SALAD WITH STRAWBERRY PUREE

Salads are delicious, refreshing and the most easiest and nutritive way of eating vegetables and fruits. This time I made a salad with a twist. I marinated the paneer, grilled it in a pan and mixed it with vegetables and a little bit of strawberry puree. Strawberry puree added that much needed tanginess and sweetness to the salad and the salad tasted delicious.

I came across this wonderful recipe in The Chak le India Cookbook and decided to try. You can try the recipe as it is if you wish for a mildly flavoured burji. Since we like our burjis to be more flavourful and spicy, mom suggested reducing the quantity of paneer by half. The burji came out wonderful and tasted delicious with rotis.
