BOOK REVIEW - OPEN EYED MEDITATIONS

I love reading books. They are a breather of fresh air and transfer us to a whole new and different world- enchanting, educating and relaxing us in return. Books have that charm and beauty that is difficult to ignore. After reading each book we become more knowledgeable, wise and increase our perspective of the world in general.

BOOK REVIEW: GOD IS A GAMER

God is a Gamer is the latest book by author Ravi Subramanian. It is packed with a great plot, clearly etched out characters and an engaging writing style that makes the book literally unputdownable. The thing that first attracted me towards the book was its excellent over design with a silhouette of a man standing in front of a building, black background and golden fonts. It gave a brief idea as to what I can expect from the book and “God is a Gamer” did not let me down as it kept me captivated from the beginning to the end.

GUJARATI KITCHEN BY BHANU HAJRATWALA: BOOK REVIEW

Gujarati Kitchen is a book written by Bhanu Hajratwala, a cook par excellence and fondly called as 'Martha Stewart' of Indian cooking by her family and friends. In spite of being born and brought up in the Fiji Islands and having spent her life so far in different countries around the world, she and her family have kept the flavour of traditional Gujarati food intact. In this book she gives a brief introduction about her journey with food and devotes several pages to basic pantry, utensils necessary for cooking, conversion charts and general tips in addition to an enormous collection of traditional Gujarati recipes.
