Sweet corn is known the world over for its health benefits. It is a rich source of fibre and is loaded with Vitamins and anti-oxidants. It is also gluten free and is a great alternative for people who are gluten-intolerant. I have already shared some recipes using sweet corn like corn vegetable rice, pasta bun and baked pasta with vegetables, and in this post I am sharing a healthy recipe of sweet corn chaat.

Serves: 4

3 cups sweet corn kennels
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp freshly chopped coriander leaves
2 tbsp freshly chopped mint leaves
1/4 lemon
Salt to taste
Pinch of red chilli powder
Pinch of chaat masala powder


  • Take a large bowl, add corn, onions, tomatoes, coriander and mint leaves and mix well with a spoon.
  • Squeeze lemon and add salt, chilli and chaat masala powder and mix well.
  • Divide into bowls and serve.
  • You can also refrigerate and serve cold.
