Hi all, Today I am going to share an easy and quick recipe using Bread which you can prepare for Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch, Snack or Dinner. Toast with a twist is basically Bread dipped in seasoned egg batter and toasted on a pan or tava. You can also pack these yummy Toast with a twist in your kids lunch boxes. This Egg dipped Bread toast tastes great with ketchup.
4 slices of bread
2 eggs
Salt to taste
Pepper powder to taste
Finely chopped coriander leaves
pinch of Garam masala powder (optional)
Oil or Butter for greasing the pan
Method
- Cut the 4 bread slices diagonally into 2 pieces each and keep ready. You will now have 8 pieces of bread slices.
- Crack open the eggs in a bowl, add salt, pepper powder, garam masala powder and coriander leaves and whisk well till everything is well mixed.
- Heat a pan and grease it with butter.
- Dip the bread slices in the egg mix one by one and gently place them on the pan.
- You can place 3 or 4 at a time depending on the size of your pan.
- Cook on one side and then flip over the bread slices and cook on the other side.
- Once done, transfer to a plate and cook the remaining bread slices.
- Serve hot with ketchup.

I make it quite often. Sometimes, I make the sweet version by adding brown sugar and pinch of cinnamon to the egg mixture. and sprinkle some brown sugar on the ready toast.
