Hi friends, today, I am going to share the recipe of an easy snack which you can serve for Iftar or with tea in the evening. Spinach balls or Palak Bonda is an easy to make and delicious snack that you can make in just 15 minutes. You can also check out more Palak/ Spinach recipes that I have shared in my blog, HERE.
1 cup besan (gram flour)
1/4 cup thinly sliced spinach leaves
1/2 onion finely chopped
1/2 onion finely chopped
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/8 tsp soda
Water
oil for frying
Method
- Take besan, spinach leaves, onions, ginger paste, red chilli powder, salt and soda in a bowl.
- Add water little by little to form a very soft dough like shape.
- Check for taste and adjust salt or chilli powder if necessary.
- Make small balls from the mix and keep ready.
- Heat oil in a kadai and when oil is hot, add the palak balls one by one and deep fry till they turn golden brown in colour.
- Once done, transfer to a plate and serve hot with Ketchup.
