Hi friends welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing the recipe of everyone's favourite Paneer Butter Masala.
I really don't know how I skipped sharing this wonderful recipe here. My family just loves this easy and simple paneer gravy and yours too would. So just give this delicious Paneer Butter Masala gravy a try and thank me later.
Ingredients required for making Paneer Butter Masala or Butter Paneer gravy
200 gms paneer cut into cubes
2 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
2 green chillies
2 onions pureed
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
3 tomatoes roughly chopped
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp salt or to taste
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/4 tsp kasuri methi
Chopped coriander leaves
15 cashews soaked in water
Method
- First take tomatoes and cashews in a blender and grind to a fine paste. Keep ready.
- Heat butter in a pan, add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix.
- Add the paneer cubes and saute till the paneer cubes turn golden.
- Transfer it to a bowl and set aside.
- Next again heat butter, add cumin seeds and allow it to sputter.
- Add green chillies and onion paste and saute for sometime till the paste turns golden.
- Now add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute till the raw smell goes.
- Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder and mix well.
- Add the tomato cashew paste and cook for sometime in low heat till oil starts separating.
- Now add the paneer cubes, kasuri methi and saute for a minute.
- Add 1/2 cup water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce flame and close a lid.
- Let it cook for just 5 minutes in low flame.
- Finally add chopped coriander leaves and switch off the gas.
- Serve the Paneer Butter Masala gravy with Roti, Paratha or Pulao.
- Enjoy.
