SCHOOL PROJECT DIY WITH CHAMKIS

I like doing crafts and DIY at home as they are a great stress busters and bring out my creativity. This time for her school exercise, my 3 and half year old daughter was given two printouts of parrot and mango and they had to be decorated creatively according to our choice. It took me about 2 hours to decorate them and the end product was really good.

Things needed

Chamkis of different colours
Fabric glue
sketch pens
water colour pencils
paint brush
toothpick

So lets see how to go about in decorating and colouring the printouts.

First outline the shapes with sketch pens and then shade inside with the water colour pencils.
Dip the brush in water and then paint over the shaded area. This will merge the water colours.
Now allow this dry completely.
Now apply the fabric glue to small areas and stick the chamkis in place.
I used a toothpick to place the chamkis in place.

The final decorated school project with chamkis is ready.
