I often make potato stir fry at home when I am in a hurry and wish to make something fast, without spending much time in the kitchen. I had shared the recipe in one of my earlier posts and today I am sharing a video of how to make potato stir fry in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients
3 tbsp oil
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp red chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp salt (or to taste)
3 potatoes skin peeled and cut into medium size pieces
1/3 tsp garam masala powder
Coriander leaves
Method
- Heat oil in a non stick pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
- When they start sputtering, add red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well
- Add the potatoes and combine everything together.
- Keep cooking in high flame for a couple of minutes.
- Then reduce heat, close a lid and cook for 10 to 15 minutes till the potatoes are soft and cooked.
- Now add garam masala powder and coriander leaves and mix well.
- Serve hot with rice and toor dal curry or sambar.
