QUAIL FRY




Hi friends, today  I am going to share a spicy and delicious recipe of Quail fry that I made recently. The recipe of making Quail fry is very simple. You can serve Quail fry for Iftar or as a starter or as a snack  in the evening. Quail fry can also be served when you have guests visiting your home. Ingredients

2 quails cut into 8 pieces (4 pieces each from 1 quail)
Oil for frying


For the marinade
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp pepper powder
2 tsp chicken 65 masala
2 tsp curd
1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
Few drops of lemon juice
2 tsp corn flour
1 tsp rice flour
Salt to taste

Method
  • Clean the Quail pieces well with water and keep ready.
  • Take all the ingredients under the marinade section in a bowl and mix well to form a smooth paste.
  • Take the Quail pieces and coat all of them nicely with the marinade.
  • Close a lid and set aside for atleast 2 hours.
  • Now heat oil in a pan and deep fry the quail pieces in medium flame till they turn golden and cooked.
  • Transfer to a plate.
  • At a time fry 2 or 3 pieces and do not over-crowd the pan.
  • Serve Quail fry with sliced onions, a quarter of lemon and coriander leaves.
  • Quail fry tastes best when served hot with Mutton Biryani, Onion Raita and Khatte Baingan (not in picture below) and Falooda mix sweet.
