for making Instant Ragi Dosa
Ingredients
3/4 cup ragi flour/ Finger millet flour
2 tbsp semolina (sooji)
1/4 cup rice flour
1/2 cup curd
1 onion finely chopped (optional)
1/2 tsp ginger paste
finely chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp green chilli sauce
water as needed
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
Oil for cooking the dosa
Method
- Take ragi flour, semolina, rice flour, salt, green chilli sauce, ginger paste, coriander leaves and curd in a bowl.
- Whisk well and then add water little by little to form a thin batter.
- Heat a tava/ skillet and grease it well with oil.
- Sprinkle chopped onions on the tava. (This step is optional)
- Pour a ladle of the batter, spread evenly and reduce flame to medium.
- Close a lid and cook for sometime.
- If the dosa has turned crisp on the edges, turn it to the other side and cook for a minute or two.
- Once the Ragi dosa is well cooked on both sides, transfer the Ragi dosa to a plate.
- In the same way make more Ragi dosas.
- Serve Ragi dosas hot with Chicken khurma or Potato curry.
