VEG MACARONI WITH SMITH AND JONES PASTA MASALA

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to share a delicious Macaroni recipe that gets cooked in no time and you can make this for breakfast, serve as a snack or pack in your kids lunch box.

Here I have used Smith and Jones pasta masala and the Pasta comes out amazing. I have added carrots and capsicums, and if you want, you can also add other veggies of your choice. This is my go to recipe when I wish to make something easy and tasty for breakfast; as me, my daughter and my husband love it.

Serves: 2 to 3
Ingredients

1 and 1/2 cups macaroni
5 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp oil
1 onion finely chopped
1/2 capsicum chopped
2 tbsp carrot chopped
1 packet Smith and jones pasta masala
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup milk
1 cheese cube grated
1/4 tsp pepper powder

Method

  • Boil water in a pan with salt.
  • When it starts boiling, add macaroni and cook for about 10 minutes till the macaroni is cooked.
  • Strain away the excess water using a strainer and keep ready.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add onions and saute for a minute.
  • Then add capsicums and carrots and saute for sometime till they are cooked.
  • Now add Smith and Jones pasta masala, salt and pepper powder and mix well.
  • Add milk and grated cheese and bring to a boil.
  • Add the cooked macaroni and give it a mix.
  • Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
