GOAT SPLEEN CURRY/ TILLI KA SALAN/ MANNERAL VARUVAL

Goat spleen or Tilli (Hindi) or Manneral (Tamil) is known for its health benefits and hence is often used in Indian cooking. It helps in increasing hemoglobin and hence is also recommended for pregnant women. Goat spleen curry is a delicious and flavorful curry and is one of my favorite curries. We usually serve this with white rice or roti. Just make this goat spleen curry once and I am sure you will become a fan of it.

Half flare Umbrella style skirts and anarkalis are in vogue now. Not only are they attractive but also comfortable to wear and less bulky compared to full umbrella style dresses. In this tutorial I would be discussing the method of cutting the cloth in half flare umbrella style. You can use this tutorial to stitch either a frock, skirt or an anarkali suit.

VEGETABLE KOFTA CURRY

Kofta curry is one of my favourite curries and I usually prepare chicken kofta curry and mutton kofta curry at home. This time since we had some vegetarian guests vising our house for dinner, we made this vegetable kofta curry to serve with chapathi. Even though the ingredients and recipe looks long, it is quite easy to prepare. The vegetable kofta curry tastes delicious and can also be served with cooked rice or naan.

Childhood is the most wonderful phase of life. The innocence, the heartening laughter and the simple questions that children ask light up our lives. We parents again get a chance to taste childhood by playing with our children. I try to spend as much time as possible playing with my 3 year daughter.
