Hi friends welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a very delicious, and no oil recipe of baked chicken.
This is a perfect recipe for health conscious people and an excellent dish to make for dinner or as a side dish with Biryani. You can also make this during the holy month of Ramadan for Iftar.
The recipe and method is slightly different from my grilled chicken recipe as here I have used different masalas and we are going to place the Chicken on the baking tray and not on the grill rack.
So lets move on to the recipe of making Baked Chicken in an otg.
Ingredients
500 gms chicken
4 tbsp Tandoori masala
2 tbsp chicken 65 masala
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsp corn flour
4 tbsp curd
Few drops of lemon
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste
Method
- First wash and clean the chicken pieces and keep ready.
- Pat dry with a towel to remove all the water
- Take all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Add the Chicken pieces and mix well with the masala.
- Allow this to marinate for atleast 2 hours.
- Then preheat an otg at 200 degree C for 10 minutes with upper amd lower rods On
- Line a baking tray with aluminium foil, add a tbsp of oil and spread evenly over the foil, so that the chicken pieces don't stick to the foil.
- Now place the chicken pieces on the foil lined tray and place it inside the oven in the middle rack.
- Bake at 200 degree C for 30 minutes, then take out the tray, turn the chicken pieces to the other side and bake for 15 more minutes.
- Check if the chicken is cooked if not cook for few more minutes.
- Once done, transfer to a serving plate and serve hot with sliced onions, carrots and mayo dip.
I hope you liked this recipe and will try at home. Thanks for stopping by.
