Boiled egg pepper fry is a quick and delicious side dish that you can serve with Biryani or Fried rice. It is a perfect side dish to turn to on those occasions when you are running out of time, but yet wish to eat something nutritious and tasty. This dish requires just 3 ingredients and gets done in just about 5 minutes.


12 hard boiled eggs
4 tbsp oil
2 tbsp pepper powder
2 tsp salt (or to taste)

  • Heat oil in a non stick pan, add salt and pepper powder and mix well.
  • Add boiled eggs, 4 or 5 at a time and stir gently so that it nicely gets coated with pepper and salt mix.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and serve hot with Biryani.


If you want the pepper to enter into the eggs, you can make small gashes around the boiled eggs (as shown above) before stir frying them.
