FRUIT CUSTARD/ MIXED FRUIT CUSTARD - EASY DESSERT RECIPE WITH VIDEO

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. Today, I am sharing the recipe along with video of Eggless Fruit Custard which I often make at home. I make this Fruit Custard when I have plenty of fruits at home and also when I am short of time and wish to make a yummy dessert in very less time. Fruit Custard gets cooked in just 10 minutes and you just have to add chopped fruits of your choice into it once the custard cools down.

Fruit Custard is usually made with Cream, Eggs, and milk. But nowadays, Eggless Custard powders are easily available in the market. These Custard powders reduce cooking time and the custard comes out creamy, smooth and delicious.

This recipe of Fruit Custard justs needs 4 main ingredients. Milk, sugar, Custard powder and Fruits. Here I have used Weikfield Custard powder. I have also made Custard using Key brand Custard powder, Brown and Polson Custard Powder too. The fruit custard comes out great with these brand custard powders too.

Here I have used strawberry flavour custard powder and it is really yummy. I have also made custard using Weikfield Mango flavour and Vanilla flavour Custard powders too and each of them comes out delicious and has a nice flavour and taste.

I have used chopped apples, bananas and pomegranates in this recipe of Fruit Custard. You can also add grapes, strawberres, pineapples, blue berries or any other fruit of your choice.

You can also serve the Chilled Fruit Custard as it is too.Or dilute the plain custard with some milk to make a Custard Milkshake!

If your kids are fond of chocolate chips or tutti frutti, you can add them to the Custard in place of Fruits. You can also make Dry fruit custard too, by replacing Fruits with Almonds, Pistachios, Figs and Cashews. I sometimes add some Sponge cake pieces too along with the fruits to make a more yummy Fruit Custard.

If you do not get custard powder, you can replace it with Corn flour and use 1 tsp vanilla essence. The vanilla flavoured Corn flour custard too comes out delicious.
Do try out this really delicious, quick and healthy Custard dessert recipe when you have a sweet craving next time. Chilled Fruit Custard is an excellent desert that you can serve during summers and also as an after-dinner dessert.

You can also serve this delicious Fruit Custard during festivals like Diwali, Eid and Christmas and also during family get togethers and other special occasions. This Fruit Custard is easy to cook and an excellent way to incororate fruits in your kid's diet. Most kids who do not like eating fruits, have no problem when they are eating this dessert!

Make sure to cut the fruits into very small size so that it is easy to eat. And adjust the quantity of fruits depending on your taste. Some people like plenty of fruits in the Fruit Custard and some like less. So adjust accordingly!
