Watermelon is one of my most favorite fruits and what could be better than a bowl of Water melon salsa to soothe my taste buds! Hi friends, today I am going to share a quick, no cook recipe of Water Melon Salsa which is fresh, nutritious and filled with mild flavors.

The varied flavors and textures of sweetness and softness of the Water Melon and the bite and mild spiciness of onions and bell peppers in the Watermelon salsa leave a wonderful taste in your mouth. You can serve this healthy and delicious Water melon salsa any time of the day!

I ran short of yellow bell pepper so I have skipped it. If you have it in your pantry, do add them. Yellow bell peppers would make your Water Melon salsa look more attractive and colorful. For variations, you can also add boiled corn, jalapenos, cucumber, etc.

Let's move on to the recipe of making Water Melon salsa.

Serves: 4 small cups

3 cups water melon cut into small cubes (seeds removed)
1 onion finely chopped
1/4 red bell pepper/capsicum chopped
1/4 green bell pepper/capsicum chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt to taste
pepper powder to taste
handful of coriander leaves


  • Take water melon, onion, bell peppers, and coriander leaves in a bowl.
  • Add lemon juice and pinch of salt and pepper powder and mix well.
  • Place the bowl in a refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Serve cold.


  • Take water melon in a bowl.

  • Add bell peppers, onions and coriander leaves.

  • Add lemon juice and pinch of salt and pepper powder and mix well.

  • Let it rest for at least 30 minutes in a refrigerator.

  • Transfer the water melon salsa into serving bowls. Serve cold.
