INSTANT VEGETABLE AND CHEESE PIZZA WITHOUT YEAST

Hi friends, Today I am going to share the recipe of making Pizza at home without yeast and without an oven. Here I have made Pizza base from scratch using All purpose flour and yogurt/curd. I have not used Yeast in this recipe. The Pizzas got ready in just 30 minutes and tasted amazing.

So, If you are looking for a perfect Pizza recipe that does not require yeast, does not take time, then you have come to the right place. To make the Pizza base, we need very few ingredients that are present in most of our kitchens. I have also shared the recipe of making Pizza Sauce. You can make the Pizza sauce and keep ready before hand. You can add vegetables, paneer, chicken or any other toppings of your choice.

Method

To make Pizza sauce

  • Cut tomatoes into small pieces, remove seeds and add them to 2 cups of boiling water.
  • Cook for about 10 minutes and then switch off the gas. Drain the water from the tomatoes and keep ready.
  • Heat oil in a non stick pan, add garlic and saute for a few seconds.
  • Next add onions and saute till the onions turn golden.
  • Add the cooked tomatoes, red chilli powder, salt, oregano, red chilli flakes, sugar and tomato sauce and mix well.
  • Cook for 2 to 3 minutes and switch off the gas.
  • Allow the mix to cool down completely and grind to a smooth paste.
  • Our Pizza sauce is ready.

To make the base

  • Take a bowl, add salt and sugar.
  • Sieve All purpose flour and baking powder, and add to the bowl.
  • Add Olive oil and mix.
  • Add Curd/ Yogurt as necessary and knead for a few minutes to make a smooth dough. Do not add water.
  • Close a lid and set aside for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile chop the veggies and grate the cheese. Keep ready.
  • Heat a non stick pan in low flame with a lid for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Now take the dough and divide it into 2 balls and roll each to form a circle of about 1/4" thickness.
  • Then using a fork prick each base. Keep ready.
  • Place one pizza base in the pan, close a lid and cook on one side for 3 to 4 minutes in low flame.

  • Turn to the other side. Close the lid and cook again for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Then transfer the Pizza base to a plate.
  • In the same way, cook the other Pizza base.
  • Now add 2 tbsp of the pizza sauce on the cooked Pizza base and spread evenly and then top it with onions, capsicums, tomatoes and cheese.
  • Sprinkle Oregano and Red chilli flakes and place the Pizza base on the pan.
  • Close the lid and cook in low flame for 5 to 7 minutes. By this time, the pizza base would be perfectly cooked and the cheese would start melting on top.

  • Remove the pizza on a plate. Cut and Serve.

  • In the same way make the second Pizza.

If you are making in an oven

  • Place the pizza base on the baking tray, keep the tray in the middle shelf of a preheated oven and bake at 200 degree Celsius for 5 to 7 minutes.
