QUICK BOURBON BISCUIT CAKE EGGLESS

 

 
Hi all, welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a quick and easy bourbon biscuit cake recipe that gets ready in just 35 minutes. It needs a preparation time of just 10 minutes and baking time of 25 minutes. So you can try out this recipe when you are craving for a quick sweet treat.

Let's move on to the recipe of making Bourbon Biscuit cake.



Ingredients

2 packets Bourbon biscuit (120 gms x 2)
250 ml milk
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp powdered sugar
2 tbsp finely chopped cashews

Method

  • Roughly break the Bourbon biscuits and transfer to a mixer jar. Grind to a smooth powder.
  • Preheat oven at 160 degree C for 10 minutes.
  • Grease a square cake mould with oil and line with butter paper. Keep ready.
  • Transfer the biscuit powder to a wide bowl and add milk little by little to make a batter.
  • Add powdered sugar and baking powder and mix gently. Make sure there are no lumps in the batter.
  • You will get a slightly thick batter.
  • Pour the cake batter in the cake mould and gently pat to remove air bubbles.
  • Sprinkle chopped cashews on top and place it inside the middle rack of a preheated oven.
  • Bake at 160 degree C with only the lower rods On for 20 to 25 minutes or till a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Take out the cake mould and allow it to cool down completely.


  • Un mould the cake and cut it into pieces. 


Delicious Bourbon biscuit cake is ready to be served.
