UTTAPAM/ ONION AND VEGETABLE UTTAPAM




Uttapams are soft Indian pancakes made with urad dal and rice and topped with onions, vegetables and spice powders. There are so many different types of Uttapams that can be prepared depending on the ingredients used for the batter and toppings. Uttapams are thicker than dosa and are topped usually with onions. In this recipe of Onion and vegetable uttapam, I have used vegetables like carrots,capsicum and tomatoes. Uttapams can be made in just 10 minutes if you have the batter ready.

VEGETABLE OMELETTE DOSA





Today’s recipe is of a dosa laden with tomatoes, capsicums and eggs. It is healthy, delicious and is perfect dish to pack in your lunch box. You can also add grated cheese, cooked mushrooms and chicken, etc on top to make it more like a pizza and serve this piping hot with tomato ketchup.
